The location of the project in Rumaithiya and Salmiya. The existing system comprised 340 km of sewers,850 Manholes, three lift stations, two major and four minor pumping stations.

The whole network was surveyed by cctv and Redesigned projected flow for the year 2010. Key features of the projected include the construction of sewers and pumping stations to depths of 10m in the areas of a high water table and extensive use of micro tunneling for approximately 10km  of new sewer construction carried out in association with ACE.
